The massage therapists of Heavenly Touch Therapeutic Massage Association with their Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) registration.
Heavenly Touch Therapeutic Massage Association, a group of certified massage therapists in Atimonan, successfully registered the business with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) last May 8.
The registration is an important step for the group in requesting financial grants and partnerships from the different government agencies. The partnership will also help the association expand their services and business.
Services currently offered by the therapists are chair and dry massage; whole body “hilot” wellness massage with an option for Ventosa; and dagdagay foot massage which uses two bamboo or rattan sticks as a tool in stimulating the pressure points of the soles and feet.
The group is planning to establish its own facility and is opening its doors to other certified massage therapists who want to join the association.
The founding members of the Heavenly Touch Therapeutic Massage Association are products of Angat Kabuhayan program of Atimonan One Energy, Inc (A1E) which is a livelihood and enterprise development program aiming to provide capacity building trainings and create more job opportunities to uplift the lives of the residents of Atimonan.
A1E will continue assisting and guiding the message therapists especially in marketing their services.
