Volunteers from Delta Earthmoving, Inc., during their company initiated coastal clean activity last January 16 along the shoreline of Brgy. Caridad Ilaya.


As a testament to its commitment to environmental stewardship, Delta Earthmoving, Inc. kicked off the year 2020 with two major environmental activities.

Around 60 workers from the company participated in the coastal clean-up and tree-planting activity held last January 16 and 19, respectively.

The volunteers collected 25 sacks of non-biodegradable waste at Brgy. Caridad Ilaya; and planted 100 variety of indigenous seedlings at Quezon Protected Landscape.

These activities were primarily aimed at the preservation and protection of the environment.

Lucille D. Ritumalta, Pollution Control Officer at Delta, added that the company also wants to foster employee engagement in their environmental efforts.

Delta is one of the subcontractors of Atimonan One Energy, Inc (A1E) for its planned 1,200-megawatt high efficiency, low emission (HELE) coal fired power plant project in Atimonan, Quezon. The contractor is also one of the partners of A1E in its social development programs for the host communities. #
