Following the success of its first salon, Atimonan Haircutters Association on February 7 opened the second branch of “Perfect Cut” at Barangay Caridad Ibaba.
Just like its first salon in Barangay Zone I, Poblacion, the new branch provides a wide range of hair services like haircutting, hair coloring and hairstyling services for men and women at affordable prices. Aside from these services, the salon also offers treatments for damaged locks, dandruff, and thinning strands.
Atimonan Haircutters Association is a group of 15 professionally trained haircutters under Atimonan One Energy, Inc.’s (A1E) Kaisa sa Kasanayan at Kabuhayan program.
The group plans to expand its presence in the municipality by opening two more branches of Perfect Cut by the end of the year, according to association President Babylyn Requillas.
“Our goal is to be a growing and lucrative business that achieves profit and client satisfaction. We hope that we build a solid group of clients that keep on coming back, “she said.
Through A1E, the association was registered with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), which allows the group to seek financial assistance from different government institutions – provided it was able to sustain three years of operations.
A1E aims to continue providing beneficial trainings and livelihood programs for the residents of Atimonan as part of its bigger goal of uplifting the lives of the residents by providing them with sustainable sources of income.
A1E, a wholly owned subsidiary of Meralco Powergen Corporation, is the developer of 1,200-megawatt (MW) most efficient coal power station in Atimonan, Quezon to utilize a highly efficient, low emission (HELE) technology known as Ultra Supercritical.
